2 new anti-aging products from Nivea

Is it me or are Nivea products just getting better and better? The brand might be a grandma favourite (I've grown up seeing trusty tubs of Nivea Creme dotted about the house) but these days, tradition is backed up by innovative ingredients and up-to-the-minute wrinkle-busting technology. And the two new additions to the best-selling Nivea Visage Anti Wrinkle Q10 Plus Range, are no exception.

DID YOU KNOW? Nivea was the first brand to use Coenzyme Q10

First to Nivea's first eye rollerball. Cram-packed with anti-ageing Q10 (a coenzyme found within the skin, responsible for preventing and reducing wrinkles) the Anti-Wrinkle Eye Roll-On, £10.85, works to smooth lines, as well as puffiness. On contact with the skin, the metal roller ball is bracingly cool, in a soothing, satisfying sort of way, while its massaging action helps to drain eye-puffing toxins. A small amount of the Q10 formula is deposited onto the eye area - so small you could even use it over makeup. I am lucky in that I don't suffer from puffy peepers so unfortunately I can't comment on its bag-busting power, but I can say my eyes felt instantly revived! It's one of the best rollerballs I've used. Fact.

Now what I lack in eye bags, I certainly make up for in see-them-from-space, crater-sized pores so the brand's new Q10 Plus Anti Wrinkle Skin-Refining Serum, £10.85, was a welcome trial. At first, the gel-come-serum feels quite greasy but its deceptively lightweight formula soaked in effortlessly. Its scent can only be described as that of a newborn baby, i.e. sweet-smelling talc. Again, with the skin's own coenzyme Q10, the serum also boasts line-plumping Hyaluronic Acid to give the look of instantly smoother skin. My pores do look slightly more refined but it's the feel of my skin - all silky-smooth and touchable - that is so addictive. The products officially launch at the end of November, but I've had a sneaky peek and the eye roll is available already at Boots.com! Sx
