Now, yellow eyes might not strike you as a very flattering trend but pastel peepers were all over the S/S 11 catwalks, and the lemony shadow at Kenzo has really caught our, ahem, eye. This look is particularly striking on blue eyes, but I imagine it would work just as well with dark brown. It's important to keep the rest of your face neutral - think flawless skin and natural lips - but define the eyes with black kohl-rimmed eyes and lashings of mascara. I applied Mac Eyeshadow in Chrome Yellow, £11.50, to the inner corner of the eye, lower lashline and swept across the lid. I did end up using a paler, lemony shade over the top from an old eye palette set, which worked well. For a cheaper shadow, the Max Factor Max Colour Effect Trio Eyeshadow, £6.99 (Boots.com) has a great yellow. Sx
