Artistic Colour Gloss Manicure New Season Colours

Yesterday I was at the heavenly Urban Retreat in Harrods to celebrate the launch of the Artistic Colour Gloss Manicure in the famous beauty emporium. Regular Best Tressers will remember I reviewed the long-lasting manicure on its launch in the UK in March. If you didn't see it, read the review here - http://besttressed.blogspot.com/2011/03/artistic-colour-gloss-polish-review.html. I was a little disappointed that the manicure, said to last 3 weeks, chipped after just 7 days. Saying that, I have terrible nails that peel and break almost on a daily basis. I feel like they might be a little stronger at the moment (I've been using Seche Rebuild) so after yesterday's manicure, I'm putting them to the test again. And what better way to do it than with this fabulous new season neon.

The great thing about Artistic Colour Gloss, as opposed to other long-lasting manicures from Nails Inc and OPI, is the rate at which they bring out new colours. After a starting collection of 38, the brand are adding 28 more amazing shades. There's also a rumour that Tom Bachik, the creator, will be launching two limited edition catwalk-inspired shades each month. Amaze-balls! The new colours include a chic collection of nudes and deep-hued plummy shades. But my absolute favourite additions are the neon colours, hot pink, fuchsia pink, purple, lime, orange and yellow, all of which glow under UV light. Even in the day, this fluoro pink (FYI, it's called Owned) is gorgeously bright. After moaning about the loss of Essie's Disco Pink, I'm so glad to have found an acidic pink replacement.
